Cafe Viejo is one of the longest standing restaurants in Puerto Viejo, celebrating 20 years in business. While you won’t find Caribbean dishes on the menu, you’ll find some of the most delicious plates and drinks straight from Italy. It truly feels like you're enjoying the best of both worlds, where tropical meets fine dining!

Those looking for the weekly hot spot…

Afro chill at Chaman Mercadito is the place to be Sunday night! With a modern and tropical aesthetic, this beautiful restaurant/bar is located right in front of the beach right in the heart of Puerto Viejo. With DJ Garf spinning the best of afro beats Sunday nights, this is an event not to be missed. Remember to pack your dancing shoes, because this event will have you grooving until sunrise.





Those looking for a more chill vibe…

Salsa Brava Beach Bar is one of the most famous locations in Puerto Viejo. Positioned within perfect view of the famous Salsa Brava wave, you can stop by any time of the day for chill vibes and a perfect view of surfers at Salsa when the waves are firing. Be sure to stop by on Tuesday nights if you're in the mood to dance!
